2. Nature of Services

Steady Check is a weight loss coaching program that helps busy adults get back to a healthy weight and stay there, with a human coach, a plan built around the time they really have, and regular check-ins.

Every member starts with Steady Start, a free assessment that works as a time audit: how many minutes you have on a normal day and on a hard day, which days tend to go sideways, and what you plan to have for dinner on a hard day. You see your result without paying.

From that result, a human coach builds a plan across three areas: diet (eating patterns, not strict meal plans), movement (short workouts that keep muscle while weight comes off), and mindset (sleep, stress, motivation, and eating habits). The coach reviews and adjusts the plan at a recurring Steady Check, and you can message your coach in the app between check-ins. When a week goes sideways, the plan scales down to a smaller version instead of being dropped.

Steady Check offers two monthly plans. Rebuild is for getting back to your goal and includes a weekly Steady Check. Hold is for staying there and includes a Steady Check every two weeks. There are no contracts, and you can cancel at any time.

Steady Check is coaching and accountability only. We do not sell or provide supplements, meal kits, food products, or prescriptions.

Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. Prices are shown before you subscribe, and you can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the period you paid for.

3. Health and Coaching Disclaimer

Steady Check provides coaching, not medical care. Nothing on the website, in your plan, or in messages from your coach is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and no doctor-patient relationship is created by using the services. Our coaches are not acting as physicians, dietitians, or licensed health care providers.

The mindset part of the program covers habits such as sleep, stress, and motivation. It is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. If you need that kind of support, contact a licensed professional.

Talk to your doctor before you change your diet or start a new exercise routine, especially if you have a health condition or are pregnant. Stop any activity that causes pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath and seek medical help. You take part in any food or movement plan at your own risk.

Results vary from person to person. Steady Check does not guarantee any amount of weight loss, any timeframe, or any other outcome.

4. Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

Rebuild and Hold are monthly subscriptions. Current prices are shown on the Plans page and again before you confirm. Your plan is billed at the start of each monthly period and renews monthly until you end it.

There is no contract and no minimum term. You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your coaching continues through the end of the month you have paid for. We do not give partial refunds for unused days unless the law requires it.

You can move between Rebuild and Hold. The price of the plan you move to starts on your next billing date. If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies, and you can cancel before then.

If a payment fails, we will let you know and may pause coaching until your payment details are updated.

5. Steady Start

Steady Start is free. Taking it does not sign you up for a paid plan, and you do not need to enter payment details to see your result.

Your Steady Start result is a starting point for planning based on the answers you give. It is not a medical assessment. Your coach uses it to build your first plan if you choose Rebuild or Hold.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree to give accurate answers in Steady Start and to your coach, to keep your login details private, and to tell your coach when something in your plan does not fit your health or schedule. You must be at least 18 years old to use the services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Steady Check website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of Steady Check or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from this website without prior written consent from Steady Check.

The Steady Check name and logo are trademarks of Steady Check. Nothing on this website grants any license or right to use any trademark without the prior written permission of Steady Check.

8. SMS Messaging: Account Notifications Only

Steady Check operates an SMS messaging program strictly for account notifications related to your Steady Check account. Steady Check does not send promotional, marketing, or advertising messages via SMS. By enrolling in this program, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Program Description: By opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated account notification text messages from Steady Check at the mobile number you provide, such as Steady Check reminders and confirmations, plan-updated notices, Steady Start completion reminders, login and verification codes, billing, renewal, and payment-failure notices, and replies to support requests you started. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of creating an account or making a purchase.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies.

Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply.

Opting Out and Help: You may opt out of the SMS program at any time by texting the keyword STOP to [INSERT SHORT CODE]. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. Supported Carriers: Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular, Google Voice, Cellular One, Cellcom, Cellular South, Interop, and Clearsky. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Steady Check website and all services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Steady Check does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components, and makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on the website.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steady Check disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Steady Check, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the website or services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

In no event shall Steady Check's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the website or services exceed the total amount paid by you to Steady Check during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the website or services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

12. Changes to Terms

Steady Check reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
